This motel in Los Ranchos de Albuquerque sits on North 4th, part of the pre-1937 route-66 route that dipped down to Belen, then ran north to Santa Fe before dipping back down to its later route just west of Santa Rosa. More of El Camino Motor Hotel and other New Mexico signs.

Inside Guadalupe Chapel in Albuquerque's Old Town. This sweet little chapel tucked away in a corner of one of the side plazas, though not under the auspices of any church, is maintained by those who care about it and always alight with candles. Papers tucked in among the candles express simple prayers for loved ones. If anyone knows more about the history of this chapel and who maintains it, please post it here. This is all I find on the web.

I have lived in Albuquerque, New Mexico for a little more than a decade, and the landscape of the Southwest provides constant inspiration in its varied and breathtaking landscapes, its flora and fauna, and its architecture ranging from old adobe churches to dazzling new interstate exchanges. My work has been shown in juried shows in Albuquerque and published in New Mexico publications, including New Mexico Magazine.
